Our History

The Beginning — 2026

Gbawe Youth Football Club was founded in 2026 in the heart of Gbawe, a vibrant community in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The club was born out of a deep passion for football and a burning desire to provide structured development for the countless talented young players in the area.

Our founders recognized that many gifted youngsters in Gbawe and surrounding communities lacked access to proper coaching, facilities, and pathways to professional football. They set out to create a traditional football club that would bridge this gap.

Our Mission

From the very beginning, Gbawe Youth FC has operated with a clear two-tier development structure:

  • Development Programme (Ages 13–16): Focused on grassroots development, teaching the fundamentals of football, instilling discipline, and nurturing raw talent into polished skill.
  • Elite Marketing Programme (Ages 17–19): Dedicated to preparing the most promising talents for the global football market, connecting them with scouts, agents, and international clubs.

Traditional Values

As a traditional football club, Gbawe Youth FC is deeply rooted in the values of community, hard work, respect, and unity. Our motto — "One Team, One Goal" — reflects our belief that success comes from collective effort. Every player, coach, and supporter is part of one family working towards a shared dream.

Looking Forward

While we are a young club, our ambition is limitless. We aim to become one of Ghana's premier youth development clubs, producing players who will represent the nation on the world stage. We are building a legacy — one player, one goal at a time.
